Each year, the medical community learns more about COVID-19 and the presence of the virus in our nation and communities. In the last academic year, the University removed requirements for being fully vaccinated and for wearing masks in classrooms and group gatherings.
For the 2024-25 academic year, the following measures will be in effect:
Since August 2020, the University has successfully remained open for an active, on-campus learning experience for our students. An important part of managing the continuing presence of the COVID-19 virus is for as many ´ºË®ÌÃÊÓƵ as possible who are eligible to be , which currently entails one updated dose of Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
The University anticipates that this virus will continue to circulate in some form for the foreseeable future, and the CDC may recommend additional vaccinations, booster shots, or other measures depending on the future evolution of COVID-19. If so, potential adjustments to our current COVID-related policies and approach will be evaluated in light of any new information.
